I guess no one has kids then...

this forum is very quiet.. i guess all us with kids are kept too busy to post!.

we have two boys - liam (3) and dylan (1).

how about everyone else ?

Thought id bring this to the top ,for anyone who wants a wee brag!!!
Jasmine is now 4yrs old and loves her wee brother to bits,i call her mum number two!He is 1yr in about three weeks and still not walking but he pushes his wee wagon around and if he catches you looking at him he raises his hand in hi 5 motion and says HEYYY!

Cant wait for summertime as he will be racing round,so we will have heaps of fun taking them to the beach etc!

Also this summer is important as its Jasmines last summer before shes a school girl..sob!

Love you all...thanks for letting me brag a little!!!

Why Are You Here?

the question, "why are you here?

" is simple enough, and your answer may be straightforward.

however, when i asked that of myself, i find that my answer is pretty complicated.

In case anyone cares..
I am here to listen ,as others can seem to find the words to what I am feeling inside,about God and Life.
I am addicted now and have to limit myself or I might forget to give my kids lunch!
I am finding there are so many new posts everyday that I have to skim read and sometimes I will write a post with my baby on my knee,but he only sits still for 1 minute tops .

I am in this a taker not a giver,so thanks all for giving!

BEW's ..........Irrational Thoughts

i have been having some pretty irrational thoughts lately.. its only been 3 months since we decided it is not the "truth".

but sometimes i think we (my family) would have been better off if we had stayed inactive witnesses.

the strain affects the whole family.. sometimes it feels like my whole world has fallen apart.

Dear Bugeyes wife,
Thankyou for expressing alot of what I feel.

I am realising that just because I believe something doesnt make it true,so I take a chance.
There is two realities in my mind.
One of earth that has to work it out for itself,and I hope it does!And one of -what if I am wrong.And If thats the case,no matter how unfair God may kill my family in Armaggedon.

I hadnt been thinking these thoughts for a while untill I had a nightmare the other night that i looked out the window to see bombs exploding outside my window and i knew it was Armaggedon.
My first feelings were panic,thoughts of my babies and then the reality that it is out of my control.

People never raised in a cult never have this sort of anxiety.

I really dont know how to finish this off..except to say that I wish you the best and hope that we can learn to focus on the positives in life!
Thats what I am trying to do..

Fathers day

i would like to wish my father felix a very first happy fathers day.. i have never given him a fathers day wish, card, hug or gift in my 44 yrs of life.

and this year i will make a change and give him my expression of love in the way i have been forbidden in all these yrs.

i will let him know that i always love him even on fathers day.

at this late, middle stage of my life, i've started wondering, now that i know what i know, about the things in my life that i "lived" with.

having been raised all my life in the "borg" i have known nothing else.

when questions began forming years ago, it started me thinking.
